Pastor Suresh

Suresh is a local pastor in Southeast Asia whose vision is to see rural pastors equipped with proper pastoral and biblical training to bring the gospel to unreached parts of India and beyond. One of the sobering realities Indian pastors face in particular is intense persecution: if they are caught sharing the gospel or discipling believers without any formal education, they become liable to significant danger. Of course, this sort of training is largely inaccessible to faithful believers in rural areas.

To address this gap – to see the gospel made equitably accessible and even the most hidden places fruitful – Suresh founded Frontline Ministries, a non-profit organization that works to equip rural pastors with the training they need to cultivate vibrant, flourishing churches in their local communities and villages. To do this, Frontline establishes campuses across Southern India to provide ministerial education through a cohort model, emphasizing servant leadership, understanding of Christian identity, and apostolic mission.

Since its conception, Frontline has established 9 campuses, graduated 578 trained ministers (24 of which are women), planted 96 churches serving 4800+ church members, and hosted 1000+ pastoral conference attendees – all unto the work of safely developing robust, healthy church cultures within their own rural communities. Currently, Frontline staffs 12 full-time staff and 21 teaching faculty, and hosts 251 students.
